Before we can fix a 3D printer, we need to understand what is wrong with it. So, if you’re not sure what the problem is, our Inspection & Diagnosis service takes a detailed look at your 3D printer, so we can give you honest and accurate advice on what to do next.
What's Included in a Printer Inspection?
We inspect all common 3D printer types: FDM and Resin.
FDM Printers
The inspection will include:
- Visual check of frames, belts, extruder, hotend, wiring
- Bed levelling & Axis Alignment Test
- Firmware version check (if applicable)
- Print test & Quality Review
- Written report of findings
- Honest advice on fix v replace
Resin Printers
The inspection will include:
- Visual check of LCD, vat, and build plate
- Fan/filter inspection
- Test exposure & screen check
- Firmware check
- Print test (if safe to do so)
- Report with repair or upgrade suggestions
